I'm Karissa Cates, the Owner and Manager of Santa Cruz Thread. When I started this business in 2013, my goal was then, and always will be, to create a safe and non judgmental salon space for people of all genders, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, sexuality, and social status to feel their most confident.
It has also been important to me to create a salon space that is relaxing, casual, and full of positive connection. One of the things that makes us special, we offer the amenities of a day spa with a team of incredibly talented licensed estheticians, and thrive in the energy you'd find in your small town beauty parlor.
